Who is Lumohub for?

Pick the way you invoice: you will see what Lumohub does in your case, on which plan, and what it does not do.

How do you invoice?

Three ways of selling your work. Pick yours — the net estimate that follows will be set to that mode.

You invoice by the day

You are on assignment at a client, you count the days you work, and the invoice has to go out at the end of the month.

What Lumohub does
  • A timesheet per contract: days, half-days and overtime hours, in a monthly, quarterly or yearly view. All plans
  • The monthly invoice is drafted from the first day you log, and recalculated on every entry. All plans
  • Your utilisation rate and your estimated net per day worked, measured against your actual working days. All plans
See the detail
  • Until the month is closed the invoice stays a draft, recalculated on every change; once sent, it is frozen.
  • Overtime is logged separately and converted into billed days (hours ÷ 8).
  • Peppol sending is included everywhere: 12 sends a year from Starter, 25 on Pro, unlimited on Expert.
What it does not do
  • The timesheet only invoices day-rate and hourly contracts: a fixed-fee contract is never triggered by logged days.
  • Nothing goes out on its own: Lumohub prepares the invoice, closing and sending remain your call.

You invoice by the hour

Your contract carries an hourly rate: it is the hours you work, not the days, that make the invoice.

What Lumohub does
  • An hourly contract: the timesheet asks for hours where a day-rate contract asks for a fraction of a day. All plans
  • The monthly invoice is the sum of your hours times your rate, recalculated on every entry. All plans
  • An estimated net and tax provisions computed on that volume of hours, exactly as on a daily rate. All plans
See the detail
  • The mode is set on the contract: one portfolio can mix hourly contracts and day-rate contracts.
  • Hours are logged day by day in common steps (2 h to 10 h) — no decimal to type in.
  • Closing the month freezes the hours and the invoice; while it is open, everything stays editable.
What it does not do
  • A fixed-fee contract is never invoiced from logged hours: it carries its own amount.
  • Nothing goes out on its own: Lumohub prepares the invoice, closing and sending remain your call.

You invoice a fixed fee

You sell your work per project or for a fixed monthly amount, not by the number of days worked.

What Lumohub does
  • Fixed-fee contracts carrying their amount, their payment terms and, if needed, a recurring monthly due date. All plans
  • Quotes in their own numbering series, turned into an invoice in one click when the client says yes. All plans
  • A reminder sent to the client automatically 3 days before the invoice falls due. Pro and up
  • The cash-flow forecast projects your fixed fees and recurring amounts over the months ahead. Expert
See the detail
  • A fixed-fee contract carries its amount and, when recurring, its due day: the invoice picks it up without the timesheet.
  • A quote is not a tax document: its VAT is indicative and nothing is frozen before it becomes an invoice.
  • Chasers after the due date (D+7, D+14, D+30) are included in Expert and available as a module elsewhere.
What it does not do
  • A quote is not an electronically signed contract: Lumohub produces and converts it, it collects no signature.
  • A fixed fee does not invoice itself: you decide when the milestone is due and you trigger the invoice.

Whatever way you invoice

Two situations that do not depend on how you bill.

🤝

You work with an accountant

You have an accountant and you want to hand over clean figures, not a shoebox at the end of the financial year.

What Lumohub does
  • A dedicated access: you invite them, they read your data only, and you can see when they log in. Expert
  • The same access can be added to any plan for 4.99 € per month excl. VAT. Optional module
  • An accountant package in a single file: UBL per invoice, matching PDFs, expenses CSV and receipts. All plans
See the detail
  • The package can be downloaded or emailed to your accountant, for the period you choose.
  • Invoices as UBL and PDF, expenses as CSV — formats a practice can ingest directly.
  • The certified legal export (ZIP archive with SHA-256 fingerprints) is in Expert, a one-off purchase elsewhere.
What it does not do
  • Lumohub is neither an accounting firm nor a tax adviser: it does not keep your ledger and files no return on your behalf.
  • Accountant access is not included in Starter or Pro: without the module at 4.99 € a month, it stays closed.

You receive invoices over Peppol

Since January 2026, Belgian B2B invoices travel over the Peppol network — your suppliers send theirs, and they have to land somewhere.

What Lumohub does
  • Peppol sending is included everywhere: 12 sends a year from Starter, 25 on Pro, unlimited on Expert. All plans
  • A Peppol inbox: supplier invoices synchronised, the ones still to handle counted in a badge. Expert
  • On Starter and Pro, reception comes within a yearly quota (12 and 25 invoices); the Unlimited Peppol module lifts it, sends included, for 5.99 € per month excl. VAT. Optional module
See the detail
  • Sending and receiving both go through a certified Peppol access point, and every send keeps a visible status.
  • Before sending, Lumohub checks in one click that your client is actually reachable on the network.
  • Over your send quota: the Unlimited Peppol module (5.99 € per month excl. VAT) lifts the limit, or move up a plan.
What it does not do
  • On Starter and Pro, an invoice received beyond the yearly quota stays listed but locked: its details open with the module or a higher plan.
  • An incoming invoice is still an invoice to handle: Lumohub makes no payment on your behalf.

Who Lumohub is for

Three audiences, one need: knowing what you really keep, and invoicing without thinking about it — as a sole trader or a company, under your country's rules (Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands).

💼

IT & business consultants

Long assignments at a daily rate, timesheets, intermediaries: the core of Lumohub was built for you.

  • Timesheet → month closure → Peppol invoice, no re-typing.
  • Dated contracts with daily rate, end client and payment terms.
  • The copilot tracks your real net, your provisions and your deadlines.
⚖️

Liberal professions

Architects, advisors, trainers, experts — as a sole trader or a company, your country's rules are applied.

  • Sole traders fully supported: no fictional salary, contributions on profit, VAT franchise tracked.
  • Tax and contribution estimates follow the official BE/LU/NL scales, sourced and dated.
  • Honesty included: professions billing by regulated acts (convention doctors, third-party payer) are not covered yet.
🎨

Creatives & agencies

Designers, photographers, copywriters: fixed-fee work and one-off jobs, with a clear view of what comes in.

  • Quotes, fixed-fee billing and one-off invoices outside any contract.
  • Expense claims with OCR, VAT and deadline tracking.
  • Many one-off clients? The active-client quotas can feel tight — tell us about your volume.

It is not for you if…

Better read before you pay for a subscription than after. Here are the cases where Lumohub will not meet your need.

…you are looking for full bookkeeping

Lumohub is neither an accounting firm nor a tax adviser. It keeps no ledger and files no return on your behalf: it keeps your figures up to date all year and prepares the ground for your accountant.

…you have staff to pay

There is no payroll module: no payslips, no social security filings for employees. Lumohub is built for the freelancer invoicing their own work.

…you are based outside the Benelux

Rates, contributions, ceilings and deadlines are tracked for Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands only. France is not covered. You can, however, invoice clients anywhere in Europe, with the VAT number checked automatically through VIES.

…you expect definitive amounts

Income tax, social contributions and remaining net are estimates, computed from what you enter and from the public rates in force, and labelled as estimates in the app. The figure that counts remains the one on your return.

…you are looking for a free tool

The Expert trial runs for 14 days, no card required. After that a subscription is needed — 14.99 € per month excl. VAT on Starter. Without one, the account is paused: your data stays intact, readable and exportable.

Recognise yourself in more than one profile?

That is the most common case. Optional modules can be added to any plan, without switching tier.
